In this instance, my computer's antivirus is Symantec Endpoint Protection. Here's the solution:
1. Locate the Symantec icon on the right side of your computer's taskbar and double-click it.
2. Log in to the administrator account to access Symantec.
3. Click on "Change Settings."
4. Navigate to "Client Management" and select "Configure Settings."
5. In the "General" tab, deselect the option for "Enable Application and Device Control."
6. Click "OK" to confirm the changes. Now, try opening the application from your USB drive.
