Firewall prevents Xammp for windows to run on local server

XAMPP Firewall Resolution

  1. Click on the Windows Start menu and go to Control Panel.
  2. Then click on Windows Firewall.
  3. In the Control Panel menu, click on "Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall."
  4. Check the box for "Allow another program" in the Change Settings window.
  5. Browse and select the XAMPP control panel executable file, then click "Add."
  6. Click "OK" to save the changes.
